About
Kimera Royal [she/her] is a game designer, musician, and enjoyer of the weird, the novel, and the unsung. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Game Software Engineering [graduated: Bournemouth University, 2024] and a BTEC Extended Diploma in Music Technology [graduated: Kingston College, 2020]. She will begin studying a Master of Arts in Digital Games: Theory and Design [at: Brunel University] in September.
Her fields of interest are experimental game design, interactive media, hypertext, and the blending of games with other mediums. Outside of study and work, she is interested in webcomics and a large assortment of music, especially Genre. Her favourite artist is Band.
She has had work featured in Indiepocalypse [2024] and exhibited at the ACM Hypertext Conference in PoznaĆ, Poland [2024] and Gamebridge game festival in Cambridge, England [2024]. She has panelled at the Games Education Summit at Sheffield, England [2022].
